KENTARO is a fullblood Wagyu bull like all the other Wagyu bulls marketed by K.I. Samen. Fullblood means that no other breeds have been crossed with the line and that the bull can be traced right back to the original Japanese pedigree. The grand sire of this bull in his paternal line is recognised for the high milk production of his daughters. He also scores high for intramuscular fat.
His maternal line goes back to Misako, who is behind grand dam Dagmar. This cow is one of the famous daughters of Michifuku and scores incredibly well across the board. Her daughter Dagmar arrived as an embryo from the USA. Her daughter Moriko is by sire Tachimichi Doi - who in turn was ired by Takazukura:s one of the prominent bulls in the Tajima line. The combination of Itomoritaka with Moriko makes Kentaro a bull with great potential - definitely if taken in partnership with the amazing maternal traits.
