In the search for fresh bloodlines and untapped cow families, K.I. Samen discovered the Imke family. This no-nonsense cow family may not be widely branched, but generation after generation it has consistently produced cows with high lifetime production levels.
Imke 94, the dam of Fire Lane, has just started her 6th lactation after completing her 5th lactation with a lifetime production of approximately 70,000 kg (5.13% fat and 3.97% protein). One generation further back, Imke 91 is currently in her 8th lactation and heading towards 90,000 kg of milk production. Further down the pedigree, several 100,000 kg cows by Sunnyboy and Very can be found — cows known for their trouble-free nature and above-average production.
Fire Lane (Fast Lane x Bombay x Atlantic) is a refined and open-ribbed bull with excellent feet and legs.
