Primrose is exceptional in many ways. He is the first bull from the Insine cow family owned by the Kleemann family from Burhafe, Germany to be used by K.I Samen. He descends from a cow family that has produced a long list of 100-tonners. First in line was foundation cow Insine EX 92 (s. Stardom), who held the German record for lifetime production at 188,533 kg of milk for a considerable time.
One of the most successful combinations with this amazing cow was longevity specialist Levin (Lee x Blackstar). Three full sisters from this match produced an average of more than 145,000 kg of milk! One of them is Inna (Levin x Insine), who currently ranks among the top in Germany with her lifetime production of 172,334 kg. Her full sister Ilke EX 92 (lifetime production 96,000 kg) is Primrose's fourth dam. Via Chianti VG 89 (lifetime production 147,000 kg) and Enzian GP 84, we arrive at the grand dam of Primrose - Fitz daughter Itta VG 88. She has produced 65,000 kg of milk to date.
In addition to high longevity, excellent conformation is firmly anchored in the family which deservedly leads to the regular addition of the predicate 'excellent'. In this respect, Iroes -the widely built Repairman daughter- is a stand out cow. She won a class at the Excellent-Schau in Leer (Germany) in 2024 and claimed an honourable mention in the intermediate class. A year later, she triumphed with another great result with a 1B ranking. But it’s not just her appearance that impresses: her lists of almost 14,000 kg of milk are equally impressive.
Backed up by this cow family, his alternative pedigree and the sought after Triple-A code 615, Primrose is a high potential bull.
