Lennard

The red colored Dutch Belted bull Lennard is born in 2009 at May 29th, out of the combination of dam Estel (registered in the Dutch Belted herd book) and AI bull Boris. Lennard is a well developed and nicely balanced bull, which has been selected by the Dutch Belted herd book for AI use.

Lennard is bred by W. Wichers from Heerde, the Netherlands, which, by this mating, brings back an old bloodline of before the FMD outbreak in 2001. Sire Boris was born in 1998 and bred by W. Wichers himself.

Dam Estel is a strong durable cow with many good descendants, like 3 breeding bulls approved by the Dutch Belted herd book. In Estel’s maternal line we find several natural breeding bulls like Norbert, Emiel, Alex, Robert and Marnix.

If we take a look at the bloodlines of grand dam Jenny, and of Estel’s sire, Cor, we go back to the well known breeding of Dutch Belted cattle breeder Staatsbosbeheer in Brummen, the Netherlands. Lennard has been used many times by Dutch Belted breeders, we expect his first producing daughters in 2011.
