Perhaps the best way to describe Eastland Wishlist (Wirdum x Adorable x Silver) is as a top performing, all-round bull. Wishlist, who has an international pedigree, scores very well for both production (including high components) and conformation traits. In addition, this A2A2 bull descends on his maternal side from a highly acclaimed, successful cow family.
This is the internationally known Lead Mae family, headed by a 95-point Leadman daughter found eight generations back in Wishlist's pedigree. Her 88-point daughter
by Durham, Leadmae 1 (who tallied up lifetime production of more than 100,00 kg of milk) was the first cow from this branch to be born in the Netherlands. Via an excellent indexed Titanic daughter we arrive at Shottle daughter Rusty (the name Lead Mae had changed by this point), rated with 89 points and noting lifetime production of 140,000 kg of milk. The subsequent generations (up to and including dam Rusty 1273) also all score between 85 and 89 points for general conformation, which brings the total number of generations scoring VG or EX to no fewer than 14. Like Rusty 1273 (the dam of Wishlist) her full sister Rusty 1269 (VG 87) is also used as a bull mother.
Wishlist's sire, the calving ease bull Wirdum, transmits very good production figures (including very positive points for protein) partnered with good conformation. In terms of frame, a notable feature is the modest stature and the extra width. Good udders, correct legs and very good health traits complete the offering.
