The well-built, typically dark red Aukdes Red (Andes x Adorable) combines impressive lifetime production from both sire and dam side. His sire Andes is supported by foundation cow Bontje 138, who lived to be 18 years old and produced 165,000 kg of milk. Andes is now daughter proven and sires large, well-balanced, late maturing heifers.
On the maternal side too, Aukdes Red comes from a strong maternal line. This family is already known at K.I. Samen, as his maternal half-brother Jabideck has also been tested. Dam Aukje 197 is about to calve for the fifth time and has already produced 70,000 kg of milk over four lactations, with lactation values up to 132. Grand dam Aukje 130 reached a total of 95,000 kg.
Aukdes Red is of medium size, has fine bone structure and skin, well-sprung ribs, a wide rump, and very good legs.
