Whinfellpark Garnish was purchased by the Limousin breeder Cowporation owned by Mr. Teus Dekker in Great Britain and brought to the Netherlands. In the Netherlands, Garnish won Overall Male Championship 2012. At the breeding farm of Jo Vos in Valkenswaard Garnish was used for several seasons as a herd bull. Garnish was a very important and impressive bull in the herd, with a good desire for breeding and a reliable and manageable character.
In terms of lineage, Garnish (Wilodge Cerberus x Ultimatum) belongs to the absolute top of modern Limousines. With regard to his breeding value, Garnish also belongs to the absolute top with a “beef value” ranking among the top 1% of the breed.
The conformation of Garnish is impressive, large and very wide. He is also very long with a large, broad rump and excellent legs. The calves of Garnish are light at birth and grow into splendid and sociable animals. The calves stand out in terms of development, especially for length and width and for their correct frames in terms of feet and legs, muscling and tail. The offspring of Garnish tend to have less fat thanks to the generous muscling, the excellent growth and good tail setting which results in more economical results.
Garnish is also used with the heifers at the farm of Jo Vos. All calves are born without birthing difficulties.
