Udo van de Plashoeve is a well-developed white bull, who stands proud on a fabulous set of legs. Udo was sired by Ugo van het Boszicht, who is also the sire of Bruno van de Plashoeve, known for his short gestation time and lightweight calves at birth.
Udo's maternal line is the Elkes, owned by the Morsink family, who have already supplied K.I. SAMEN with many bulls including Noud, Alfa, Alfa 2 and Bob. To date, all the bulls from this line have satisfied the expectations and been used as breeding bulls due to the calving ease they transmit. Elke 42's dam was sired by Dandy, who is also known as the sire of Remco van ’t Zandeind.
The combination of Ugo with the Elke line and the contribution of Dandy makes for a very favourable mix.
Udo was not only born after a short gestation time (271 days), he was also a natural birth, which is why he rates 5 out of 5 stars for calving ease. Good luck using this top of the range bull!
