Jens

Jens rf (Archem 17 x Gentius) is a new black Dutch Belted bull who is selected for AI activities by the Vereniging Lakenvelder Runderen due to his interesting pedigree. He is bred by Mr. van de Poll in Oldebroek.

Sire Archem 17 was for two seasons used as natural breeding bull at the farm of Mr. van de Poll. In two generations 18 descendents were born of which 13 with the correct drawing.

Dam Netho 2 (Gentius x Gaaike) origins from breeding farm Bos and knows several preferred herdbook cows in her pedigree. Out of Netho 2 six descendents were born. Three times a proven bull, with Jens being one of them, and three times female progeny. The last three of them did show a rather small sheet in their drawings.

Jens performed before his AI usage as natural breeding bull on three different farms. His calves were easily born and their drawing is of an average level. Jens is red carrier as well.
