Holbra Sané

High components and good conformation - what’s not to like? Holbra Sané (Shakespeare x Hartley x Board) is a bull who perfectly matches this description. Sané is an imposing bull who stands on correct legs and has a pedigree that boasts two super cow families. On his paternal side we find the Sandra family (who have produced bulls including Slash) while the Mark Prudence line features in his maternal pedigree.

Shakespeare, Sané's sire, shows equal scores for production, conformation and health traits. This calving ease bull has very positive scores for milk, fat and protein, very good conformation that includes correct legs and scores high for durability. Through his dam Sandra 2, an excellent ranked Malki daughter, Shakespeare is a half-brother of "SAMEN" breeding bull Slash.

Sané's maternal line is currently making quite a name for itself. The Mark Prudence (EX 95) line excels in conformation with an amazing 15 generations of VG or EX cows, and performs well in both the black-and-white and red-and-white segments. And this impressive performance is not limited to just the females. In R&W, popular bulls such as Ryder, Robin and Ranger are also doing very nicely. Good breeding bulls, including Rodanas, Topstone and Adori, also regularly appear in B&W.  Adori is a son of the great-grand dam of Sané, Malon 3 (VG 88). Following in the footsteps of her dam Malon (VG 87), Malon 3 achieved lifetime production of nearly 80,000 kg of milk with 4% protein. These qualities are typical of the female line, and are demonstrated by performances including that of the very attractive Jetset-daughter Malon 8 (EX 90) and bull dam Malon 9 (s. Board, VG 88). This grand dam of Sané has now clocked up more than 50,000 kg of milk with very high components. Her daughter by Hartley, Malon 16 (Sané’s dam), was registered with 87 points as a heifer and is carrying on the family tradition for conformation and protein.
