Despagnou

Despagnou is the first Aubrac bull to be made available on the Dutch market. Aubrac is a beef breed known for its unique traits. The Aubrac breed is known for ease of calving, their friendly nature and very notable, exceptional longevity. More than 15% of all the pedigree cows are older than 10 years!

The cows are also renowned for their excellent fertility - which is also vital to be able to reach such an old age. The breed has a moderate stature and is primarily praised for its beef production qualities. In France, Aubrac beef is specially marketed under its own name.

Despagnou can be used for easy calving and for beef. The coat varies in colour from fawn, through wheat to some grey on the flanks. Aubrac is a sturdy, hardy and low maintenance breed with the ability to cope well on rough terrain.
