K.I. Samen quite recently used Malki son Meester, a bull with a proven pedigree and balanced traits (aAa 561). In De Nautena Bianchi (Bisor x Milo x Malki), we’re testing another bull from the Anna family. Bianchi is closely related to Meester, as his grand dam is a full sister of this bull. As he has aAa code 165, Bianchi again offers a proven pedigree and balanced traits.
Just like his sire Bisor (aAa 561), Bianchi also scores A2A2 for beta casein. Big Spell son Bisor has a small plus for milk production and transmits high component percentages. Bisor daughters are wide bodied and have good body condition. They produce smoothly and with ease, and combine this with excellent udders and good health traits.
In Bianchi’s maternal line, let’s start with great grand dam Anna 121 (VG 87). This Bertil daughter, whose dam Anna 105 produced more than 60,000 kg of milk, has clocked up lifetime production of more than 110,000 kg of milk to date. Anna 121 is the dam of KI Samen bull Meester. Meester’s full sister, Anna 129 (VG 88), is Bianchi’s grand dam. This imposing Malki daughter has exemplary production credentials. Fully living up to her status as a Malki daughter, she shows tremendous progress over the lactations. Milo, who sired Bianchi’s dam, also scores high for late maturity; a trait that is clearly demonstrated by Bianchi's dam Anna 131. After a respectable heifer list, each following lactation continues to improve impressively.
