The appropriately named CCB Erster (Erwin x Nelson x Berko x Nero x Lachs x Ade) - his name means 'first'- is the first FH bull from Germany at KI Samen. He offers plenty of length, width, good legs and an outcross pedigree from a well established German cow family.
His maternal line can be traced back for more than 12 generations with only pure FH sires. The cow family is characterised by good longevity, good conformation and high component percentages. This family has already produced several AI bulls. His grand dam completed seven lactations with up to 3.70% protein. Erster's dam Kornata is one of the most highly ranked FH cows in Germany with a score of VG 88. As well as her excellent udders, she has excellent legs. To date, Kornata has produced average lactations of 8013 kg of milk with 4.42 % fat and 3.53 % protein and is kept on an organic dairy farm. Her pedigree comprises German and Dutch genetics.
Her sire Erwin is a German K.I. bull with a positive production inheritance. He also transmits good udder health, very good daughter fertility and very good persistency. His daughters are typical of the breed with lots of width, very good legs and correct udders. He descends from the Dutch bull Burger Botermijn on his paternal side and his lineage also includes old, proven East Friesian bloodlines.
CCB Erster has an extremely low inbreeding coefficient and thanks to his exceptional pedigree represents a very welcome outcross alternative to FH and British Friesian breeding lines.
