The Warsi line is a cow family with a long tradition at K.I Samen. This originally Canadian pedigree has extremely good conformation and a great urge to produce, traits that are reflected by the high number of breeding bulls supplied by this cow family. In addition to bulls such as Brasil RF, Lazar P, Mason RF and Effort, the Warsi line also produced the polled "Samen” breeding bull Painter P. His dam, Ramos daughter Warsi 55 (VG 88), is the 4th dam of Bonhill Owner (Oken x Biggio x Maik) and is one of the nine generations of VG or EX cows that now make up his pedigree. Flushing Warsi 55 with Snowman resulted in several bull dams, including Owner’s 3rd dam Warsi 129 , who ranks VG 89 and has lifetime production in excess of 80,000 kg of milk. Her daughter by Maik, Warsi 203 (VG 87) realised lifetime production of almost 70,000 kg and is proving to be a very good brood cow. One of her progeny is a daughter by Supershot, Warsi 280, who scores VG 85 with an average LV of 120. She, in turn, is the dam of "Samen” bull Rambam RF (s. Rubels). Warsi 203 is also the dam of Warsi 359, sired by Biggio and scoring 87 points. Like her half-sister Warsi 280, this dam of the A2A2 bull Owner is a highly productive cow. This has resulted in an average lactation value of 134 for the first three lists!
Transmission of high component percentages is a feature of Owner's paternal pedigree. Owner's sire was bred in France and gives average to easy calving ease. As well as high component percentages, his transmission pattern consist of good height and width, good legs, correct udders and good health traits.
